The horsehair bristles are stiff enough to really dig into fabric, and the wooden handle gives me a solid grip while scrubbing. It’s only 5.5 inches, but that makes it easy to maneuver on a sleeve or collar without tiring my hand.

That horsehair bristle brush got a set-in coffee stain out of my cotton shirt when my usual spray alone couldn't. The wooden handle feels solid and doesn't slip when it's wet. It's just 5.5" but it fits nicely in my hand for scrubbing collars and cuffs.

I was skeptical about a little 5.5" wooden brush actually getting out set-in stains, but it worked better than the spray I've used for years. The horsehair bristles scrub firmly without fraying the fabric, even on my kid's grass-stained soccer jersey.
